Z-Wave has been adopted by more than 160 companies dedicated to the open and interoperable Z-Wave wireless ecosystem. These companies comprise the Z-Wave Alliance, a consortium of industry leaders from across the entire spectrum of the home controls market. Alliance members share a common consensus and a common goal -- to provide advanced yet practical systems that deliver increased comfort, convenience, safety and security, using Z-Wave technology.
Just as Z-Wave is an ecosystem for the home, the Z-Wave Alliance is an ecosystem for the Z-Wave market -- made up of manufacturers, vendors and consultants that work in conjunction to create exciting new product and market possibilities.
Alliance members work together on channel opportunities, training and marketing initiatives. Together, they articulate innovative solutions to appropriate constituents, and collaborate on compelling consumer bundles and applications. Alliance members help develop the device class, software and certification solutions that make Z-Wave interoperability the new standard in wireless control. They define the Z-Wave ecosystem and promote its benefits; to the channels, the consumer and to prospective Alliance members.
